Chadwick Mediation & Arbitration, LLC
With more than 30 years of litigation experience, Ray Chadwick provides alternative dispute resolution (ADR) services including mediation, arbitration, evaluation and special master services to the courts and clients in Georgia and adjacent states. His professional experience includes representing both plaintiffs and defendants in mediations since 1989, as well as serving as a full-time mediator and arbitrator since 2010.
Ray is a registered neutral with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution for both mediations and arbitrations. He is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and Georgia Academy of Mediators, and the Past Chair and past member of the Executive Committee of the Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar of Georgia. He is also a past member of the Supreme Court of Georgia's Committee on Dispute Resolution.
Virtual Mediations
Subsequent to the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic in early 2020, Ray has conducted numerous virtual mediations for attorneys across Georgia, including Atlanta, Greater Atlanta, Savannah, Macon, Perry, Athens and Valdosta. The success rate of resolution of cases has been comparable to that of in-person mediations. For many attorneys (both plaintiffs’ and defendants’) virtual mediations have become their preferred choice because of convenience, as well as time and expense advantages.
For those attorneys’ virtual mediations have become their “new normal.” Ray continues to provide virtual mediation services for all who choose virtual mediation as an alternative to holding one in-person.
In light of his experience in many areas of the law on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants, Ray provides mediation services in areas including, but not limited to:
- Personal injury and wrongful death
- Premises liability
- Products liability
- Medical negligence
- Nursing home/assisted living liability
- Governmental liability
- Police liability
- Wrongful employment termination
- Sexual harassment
- Discrimination
- Property damage claims
- Commercial disputes and litigation
- Construction litigation
- First and third party insurance
- Eminent domain
